With the recent launch of the Window & Door Grant, NorDan Vinduer in Ireland (NorDan) is thrilled to announce our status as a registered contractor with the SEAI (Sustainable Energy Authority of Ireland).

This grant presents homeowners with a fantastic opportunity to address high energy costs while enhancing the comfort of their homes through energy-efficient windows and doors. At NorDan, we take pride in providing highly efficient options in timber, alu-clad, and aluminium. NorDan offers supply and fitting services nationwide and can be found on the SEAI contractor list via name or contractor ID: 19724

Grant values

Windows

  • Apartment: €1,500
  • Mid-Terrace: €1,800
  • Semi-Detached //End of Terrace: €3,000
  • Detached: €4,000

External Doors

  • €800 per door (max of 2 doors)

Applicants can apply for the windows grant, the doors grant or both.

Are you eligible?

  • The house must be built and occupied prior to 2011
  • You must be replacing existing single or double glaze windows with high-performing windows (1.4 or better)
  • You must be replacing inefficient doors
  • You must have adequate attic and wall insulation

How to apply

This is the process to follow if you’re applying for the grant yourself. If you’re using a One Stop Shop, they will manage this process for you.

  1. Get quotes from NorDan Vinduer- contractor ID: 19724
  2. Apply to SEAI for grant offer
  3. Wait to receive a grant offer from SEAI (do not commence works prior to receiving your grant offer)
  4. Complete the works
  5. Get a post works BER
  6. Submit required documents to SEAI
  7. SEAI will pay your grant into your account (inspection may apply)
