This project had a particularly demanding window specification. The client required robust windows that would withstand the rigours of student living with minimal maintenance. The location at the busy intersection of Gardiner St & Parnell St. resulted in planning approval requiring the windows to provide significant sound-reduction. The architects required a window that met their strict standards for sustainable construction and comprehensive quality certification. The contractor required a window that met the budget and rapid building programme. A total of 560+ NorDan ‘StormGuard’ windows met all the requirements.
